Future Home for 98K Underway

Many of you have asked what I have been doing the past few weeks. Well, not much as far as actual work on 98K goes. However, my efforts will be of future benefit to 98K. The photo on the left shows about 100 boxes we have packed to "de-clutter" the house. Besides that effort, I have also been painting and doing other tasks to prepare our current house to go on the market.

The fact we are selling our home will probably catch most of you by surprise. The other half of it is that we have broken ground on a new home and hangar at Stearman Field in Benton, Kansas. Our goal is to wake up every morning at the airport by Labor Day.

If you want to follow our progress on the house, here is another blog I have started:

The blog shows the floor plans and elevations, as well as current status - foundation poured! The hangar will be 50X50, plenty of room for 98K.

You will probably not see much progress on 98K until the hangar is complete and there is room to spread out. Also, I will be conserving my airplane funds until the current house sells, just in case. So, stay tuned.....
